In 2001 Gasthof Hirschenwirt had its 50th anniversary. Stop, that is not totally correct. In fact just the building turned 50, the inn is in the hands of the 4th generation of family Ebner.
At the beginning it was not a restaurant in the common sense but a station for carriages. Throughout the years the company faced a lot of changes and adopted excellently to them. Good examples to what we adopted are the building of the Tauern-Highway or the beginning of winter tourism back in the 70's. Yes, we were the first winter camping in our region. Another innovation of that time was spending the holiday in a caravan: camping was born. The menu kept up to date too with regional kitchen, healthy food and natural ingredients. We, family Ebner, can rely on a great team of loyal staff, some of the people are now working for over 30 years with us. Together with them we do our best to offer you a remarkable stay.
